UPDATED: Lennox Kitchen And Dining Set

Updated 22/01/2017: With the toddler patch breaking a few things, I have taken the opportunity and gone through and updated my sets to fix issues and generally improve on some things. Here, I have updated all counters and seating with new tags and toddler interaction, updated the dining chair rigging, as well as remove the buff from the sink when I used a career reward.
Update 19/07/2016: I have made the chairs and tables to be compatible with dine out and also fixed the issue where the three pieces of open shelving could not be adjusted all the way to the floor. You can download individual files at the bottom of this post.
As a celebration of my birthday, which I wanted to actually enjoy it this year, I decided to make something specifically to mark the occasion. I also decided to keep it a secret since I couldn't enjoy the surprise myself, others could in my place. So what ended up being an idea morphed into another kitchen, but I wanted something clean and simple, and this is the result. Some may call it dull, or boring, but I am not a flashy person and I find clean lines very appealing.

UPDATED: Serenity Bathroom Set

Updated 22/01/2017: With the toddler patch breaking a few things, I have taken the opportunity and gone through and updated my sets to fix issues and generally improve on some things. Here, I have updated the three broken mirrors so they will work properly in-game now.
UPDATE 18/07/2016: Lighting updated for July patch, I have also fixed the double shower so it no longer gives the routing error when upgrading. You can download individual files at the bottom of this post.
12/04/2016: Pedestal sink missing texture fixed
26/03/2016: Toilet fixed and updated

Well, my new furniture set is finished, and again, i seem to time these right as milestone 'gifts.' Since that really isn't the case because it takes me a while to put these together, this set and all future sets will be labelled as Custom Content Collections. This is my first bathroom, and was about time I actually made one. Little surprise its modern. My bathrooms are mostly modern as I love the tranquil feel it gives a small space.
There is a full set here, and the shower is quite special. I designed it to sit inside the walls so you can have any tile you like without it being obstructed. I have had to do some custom tuning for it to work, and because of this the animation is the same as the tub shower combo but with adjusted heights, so when getting in your sims can sink into the floor a little. It is a pay-off for the design, so be aware of it. You can also put stuff inside the shower without fear of routing issues too. The modern basin also has side cabinets to give you more storage space. Because they are 1/2 tile wide, to properly place press F5 to activate 1/4 tile movement and they will place just fine. I had to separate the solid and wood variations of the sink and cabinets as too many swatches can become an issue in build mode.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this set as much as me :)

Updated: Shaker Kitchen

Updated 21/01/2017: With the toddler patch breaking a few things, I have taken the opportunity and gone through and updated my sets to fix issues and generally improve on some things. Here, I have updated all counter with new tags and toddler interaction, as well as remove the buff from the sink when I used a career reward.
UPDATE 17/07/2016: Just a small update while I am doing everything else. There was a texture issue with the kitchen cabinets which has been resolved. Please redownload. Individual items can be downloaded at the link at the bottom.
UPDATE 07/02/2016: There was an issue with the dirty state of the light blue island with butcherblock top where the countertop texture was not correctly linked and displayed as the missing texture. I have since fixed this and reuploaded the files. Please redownload. Thank you to Kanata2288 for bringing the issue to my attention.

Well, I think I out-did myself this time. I seem to be taking on ever-increasingly complex sets that get bigger as I get more experience. As you can see, a kitchen is probably one of the most complex sets you can make for The Sims 4. Totalling just over 51 unique meshes in 38 package files, this by far outstrips Atwood Living for my biggest set to date. I will probably hold that title for some time to come. I has been a labour of love, and I hope that dedication shows in the final product. I am usually at a point when i finish these projects that I never want to see my content again. However, that is not the case with this kitchen. I still love using it, despite the amount of agony it has caused me. So I hope you all enjoy it at least as much as me (which is a lot).

Advisory: Because of EA's horrendous cabinet shader, I changed mine to the counter shader so it lights up smoothly. However, the side effect is the occluders (what helps cast shadows) of the items that go on the counters will visually darken the cabinets above, particularly appliances and refrigerators. So I have made a default override for the lightsources for every appliance and refrigerator released to date. These will only work for basegame items unless recolours link to this basegame lightsource instead of cloning it. You will find the download at the bottom the the page. It is HIGHLY recommended to have that and it can be used with any kitchen where the cabinet shaders have been changed (e.g. plasticbox kitchen overhauls over at MTS and my own blandco recolours) so you don't get the annoying shadows.

UPDATED: Mid Century Eclectic Object Set

Updated 21/01/2017: With the toddler patch breaking a few things, I have taken the opportunity and gone through and updated my sets to fix issues and generally improve on some things. Here, I have updated all seating with new tags and toddler rigs, redid floor lamp, as well as redo surface slots. Items placed on objects that have slots redone will need to be placed again from the family inventory.
Update 17/07/2016: I have updated this set to work with the latest July patch where changes were made to the lighting tuning. You can find the new downloads below, as well as a link to the individual items.

I know it may seem that I hold back these sets as followers gifts, but it seems to take me that long to finish one of these projects. This set is a bit different from my previous ones. It was designed to take a bit of the tedium out of creating "object sets" with multiple matching items and designed to go together. This set is something that can be mixed and matched with other sets, hence the name "eclectic". The randomness of the items, but how they all come together is what I aimed for, and I think I succeeded. It is also a smaller size (both file and item count) which was nice after completing Atwood living. That set was HUGE! I have also included some retro inspired wallpapers to accompany this set. We really do need more wallpapers, so go fourth and decorate with these new pretties.

The Build/Buy items feature:

UPDATED: Atwood Living - Lounge Room Set for TS4

Updated 21/01/2017: With the toddler patch breaking a few things, I have taken the opportunity and gone through and updated my sets to fix issues and generally improve on some things. Here, I have updated all seating with new tags and toddler rigs, redid floor lamp, as well as redo surface slots. Items placed on objects that have slots redone will need to be placed again from the family inventory.
Update: 17/07/2016: I spotted a small mesh issue this morning and my perfectionist self couldn’t unsee it, so i updated the files again. Its just a seam on the tea light candles but its fixed now.
Update 16/07/2016: Updated The cantilever floor lamp, and tealight candles for the July patch. They can now be adjusted per room. I also tweaked Ferntastic potted fern, Gloss Side Table, Wood Geometric Table so the shadow group doesn't glitch with the floor, and changed out a missed thumbnail with the three seat sofa i missed last update.
Update 7/03/2016: just a small update for this set, nothing relating to cc fixes, just gave the items easier-to-find thumbnails. I know that was one thing a lot of people commented on so here it is. So if you want the content easier to find, please re-download.

Another milestone, another set of furniture to share. I think a big area that needed my style touch is the living room. Most of the sofas are either blah or ew to me, so I decided to make some for myself. It was supposed to be small, but again I failed miserably at that. 26 items is my biggest set yet, it is also the largest too. Please note this set is over 90MB. The reason for this is the items with the largest texture maps (the sofas, ottoman, and armchairs) have 28-48 textures, which in turn make the file size extra large. There is nothing I can do about that though.

The Build/Buy items feature:
  • basegame compatibility

  • 26 meshes in total with between 12 and 52 colour/style options:
    - 3 Seater Sofa (48 total swatches (28 fabric, 20 leather))

UPDATED: NOX Dining Set

Updated 21/01/2017: With the toddler patch breaking a few things, I have taken the opportunity and gone through and updated my sets to fix issues and generally improve on some things. I have fixed seat rigging for toddlers, and added new toddler tags to objects.

UPDATE 6/07/2016: NOX needed a few updates besides fixing the chairs and tables for the Dine Out Update, these include:

  • chairs correctly flagged to be used in restaurants
  • Dining tables now have correct slots for use in restaurants (i.e. snap to booths and for colouring placemats)
  • Dining Chair had weird glitch where it stretched at some angles, was remade and added black leather option. Will have to be re-placed in your games due to new IDs
  • Pendant light emission height has been corrected for all styles; originally all at same height which was not correct
  • Pendant lights priced based on type, not length, new, clearer thumbnails
  • re-did slots on sideboard and tree shelf. Objects placed on slots will need to be re-placed, but not the surface objects themselves

Modernist furniture is my favourite styles of furniture. It is crisp, simple, elegant and functional. It can also be curvaceous and sexy too. I guess that is why I love making it for my game. This set tackles a very much neglected part of the interior: the dining room. I wanted to make something that was streamlined and elegant, and was less clunky then a lot of the existing dining tables and matching items in the game. I think I succeeded at what I set out to accomplish. This also marks another milestone, both for my blog and tumblr, so it is a special way to mark that too. Thank you to everyone for the support.
